At least two shops were destroyed and six others damaged in a bomb blast in Bajaur Agency on Sunday, security officials said, adding another explosive device was recovered near the site of the blast which was defused by personnel of the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS).
Sources in the political administration said that unknown miscreants had planted a bomb in a cloth market located in Kamar Sar Bazaar of Mamoond tehsil which went off with a huge bang.
As a result of the explosion, two shops were completely destroyed causing losses of hundreds of thousands of rupees to the owners. Another six shops were partially damaged, added the sources.
The political administration of Bajaur Agency have arrested four watchmen of the market and started investigation into the incident.
