A man was killed while two others were injured in a traffic incident within the Shams Colony police jurisdiction.
Muhammad Awais, a resident of Shams Colony, lodged a complaint with the local police that his nephew Ali Yar and sons Junaid and Rafiq Aziz were going in a car when a tractor trolley (LWO-9355) hit them from behind on Kashmir Highway. The accident left Yar fatally injured and the two others sustained injuries.
The injured were rushed to a local hospital where doctors pronounced Yar dead on arrival.
The police arrested the tractor driver identified as Nadir.
