Sanam Baloch will portray Pakistan’s first fighter pilot Marium Mukhtiar, who was killed in the line of duty, in a film to pay tribute to her.
According to reports, the film will be directed by Sarmad Khoosat and written by Umera Ahmed.
PAF pilot Marium Mukhtiar was killed on 24th November 2015 when her fighter jet crashed at Kandian area of Bhakra near Mianwali.
She was honored with the prestigious Tamgha-e-Basalat by the Government of Pakistan on 23rd March 2016.
The celebrity said, “When I came to know it’s about Marium Mukhtar and I had to portray her, I decided I have to do it no matter what, although I was in talks with someone else as well for July”.
