Sindh Inspector General of Police AD Khwaja has claimed that elimination of corruption and malpractices are among his priorities.
He stated this in a meeting with the successful bidders for the supply of various items to Sindh police during the fiscal year 2015-16. The police spokesman said on Saturday that the IGP informed that the process for transparent bidding without any discrimination had been initiated for acquisition of various items required by the Sindh police.
However, the IGP also made it clear that there would be no compromise on the quality of items supplied. He also stated that Sindh police’s procurement and inspection committees were being bifurcated and given separate responsibilities.
