Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali Saturday (today) presided over a high-level meeting to discuss terrorism and abduction incidents in the city with the Sindh chief secretary and interior secretary.
Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali chaired meeting in Karachi Supreme Court Registry Branch.
The meeting was chaired in the wake of the abduction of Sindh High Court Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah’s son.
The chief justice has ordered the Sindh chief secretary, secretary interior and Karachi Inspector General Police (IGP) to submit report regarding Justice Sajjad Ali Shah’s son Advocate Owais Shah’s kidnapping report.
The CJP will conclude the day’s schedule by convening a meeting with Sindh Rangers Director General who will brief him about targeted operation in Karachi that was launched in September 2013.
