Punjab govt approves three road development schemes worth Rs 1.474b

Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved three development schemes of road sector with an estimated cost of Rs 1474.784 million.

These schemes were approved in the 42nd meeting of PDWP of the current fiscal year 2015-16 presided over by the Punjab Chairman P and D Board Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.

According to the spokesman for P and DD, the approved development schemes included rehabilitation of road from Lower Topa (Danna) to Gulehra Gali to Patriata, Rawalpindi at the cost of Rs 327.298 million, construction of Mandra Chakwal, road to Rawat Chakbeli via Pind Bala Paimal at the cost of Rs. 467.735 million and widening of road from Kallar Kahar to Choa Saiden Shah, District Chakwal at the cost of Rs 679.751 million.
