Uzma Ramzan, wife of owner of Royal Palm Golf and Country Club lashed out at Railways Minister Saad Rafique on social media after the club was sealed this morning by the Punjab Police.

Uzma Ramzan posted on Facebook saying, “Saad Rafique and his thugs have taken this too far – they have illegally taken over the Royal Palm this morning storming the place with his goons and railways people.”
She added, “The civil court had issued a restraining order stopping Railways taking any action. Even though the next date for the hearing is 28th June, his goons have illegally taken over a private club. This take over is a complete violation of court orders against the owners, depriving 1000 employees of attending work, and 3000 honorable members of using the Club”
She urged civil society to speak up against this and said we are sick of this “QABZA CULTURE” and that this needs to stop.

Royal Palm is Pakistan Railway property and it was leased at much less than market price to present "owners" by General Musharraf and his corrupt cronies. The lease was big fraud. I am with Saad Rafique to have it back for Railway.
if it was a fraud then has the govt. taken any action against the people in power at that time and also against the railway management that signed the lease? If it was a legal contract then the present govt. should honour it. If it was a bad deal then the railway management should be taken to task.
We all know the actions we take against frauds when high ups are involved. And how the Deals are made Legal. The irony is that present Owners are not fulfilling the low ball deal commitments. That is why Railway could take action.
What disgusting comments …this property was leased at Rs 14 per acre per year to ishaq Khakwani…you have no knowledge about the case just wrote to please your masters PML N , I suppose. Can't u see what is the scenario of Railway what these so called govt. officials have done to improve railway system. The net losses of the Pakistan Railways in year 2015 is Rs 32.52 billion. And now some PML(N) supporters are saying it should be given back to Railway. What a constructive thought!!
