Corey Lewandowski, Donald Trump’s controversial campaign manager is all set to join CNN. Lewandowski was abruptly fired by Trump, for a still unknown reason when the race towards the general election has just started.
Lewandowski’s relationship with the media has also been quite unpleasant, to say the least. He famously manhandled a Reporter, Michelle Fields, at a rally when she approached Trump for a question. The reporter, at the time, worked for Breitbart News, at a press conference in Jupiter, Florida and has now moved to Huff Post.

In another incident, Lewandowski has an unnecessary quarrel with CNN Reporter Noah Grey. During another Trump rally, Lewandowski threatened Grey that he would be blacklisted from all Trump rallies if he didn’t stay in the “press pen” (an area reserved for the press during Trump rallies).

The problem that Lewandowski faces, however, is the nondisclosure agreement that he has allegedly signed with Trump. Trump makes all his employees sign such agreements whereby they are not allowed to discuss his campaign affairs during or after employment.
Lewandowski has avoided questions about his agreement, but said in a recent interview with MSNBC said: “I will do everything I can to make sure Donald Trump is elected the next president of the United States”.
It will be interesting to see what Lewandowski brings to the table at CNN as it has become increasing difficult for Trump proponents in the media to spin his views and defend his rhetoric.
This hiring also brings into question the standards at CNN and other channels where people with such hostilities towards the press are hired for ratings.
