Senior leaders of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) including some members of the federal cabinet on Wednesday night met at the Prime Minister’s House, news channels reported.
According to the TV reports, the meeting was presided over by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and was attended among others by Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
TV reports said that the PML-N leaders discussed the overall political and security situation in the country. They also condemned the murder in broad daylight of renowned Qawwal Amjad Farid Sabri in Karachi.
