Mr. Dar Finance Minister has stated in the Assembly that if Dal mash is selling at Rs. 260/- per kg., people should eat chicken which is Rs. 200/- per kg. He has stated the obvious now but our people are proto type of Bani Israel who asked for dal and vegetable instead of poultry birds which were supplied in abundance by grace of Allah Almighty and thus persisted in the end by asking for an inferior source of food in place of a highly nutritious poultry derived food in the form of partridges. Prophet Muhammad (P.B.H.H.) had said that his Ummat would behave just like Bani Israel. It has been proven in Pakistan where the old adage is that “Ghar ki murghi dal brabar”. We as a nation are ungrateful of Allah’s bounty wherein dal is preferred over chicken produced in Pakistan. It appears Mr. Dar is most fit candidate for P.M.’s post in case an alternate to Mian Sahib is sought. He has solved some of financial matters and could prove to be an excellent replacement of Mian Sahib if seen objectively in view of his past record if the nation is not going to be punished like Bani Israel.

It reminds me of French revolutioon. When the People in the streets were crying for Food the Queen asked them to be given cakes. She lost her head. The comparision of chicken and dhal is irrelevant. The honorable minister probably eats both. Variety is the spice of life. Well the spices are expensive too!
Interesting comments. The difference is Bani Israel were cursed to ask for replacement of what they were receiving with things like Masoor, onions, kakri etc but we, in Pakistan can not get even what Bani Israel requested for. So what to do ? Eat grass like said ZAB ?
