An alleged robber, who was overpowered and beat up by a mob during a robbery within Pakistan Bazaar police station’s limits, died in police custody on Tuesday.
According to SSP Pir Muhammad Shah, accused Faisal was looting people within the limits of Pakistan Bazaar police station when a group of citizens captured him and beat him up badly. However, police rushed to the scene and controlled the situation. The robber was handed over to the police for further action, but he succumbed to his injuries in the police station.
