Five outlaws, 13 alm-seekers held in capital

The Islamabad police arrested five outlaws and 13 alm-seekers from various areas of the capital, a police spokesman said.

He said that Aabpara police nabbed a bandit Safdar and recovered looted items from him. The Ramana police apprehended Kamran Ashraf for being allegedly involved in a theft case and Shakeel and Shabbir Khan were held for selling petroleum products illegally, he added. Similarly, Golra police arrested Afzal Khan for selling petroleum products without NOC, he said.

Meanwhile, 13 professional alm-seekers were held.

While reviewing this performance, Islamabad SSP Sajid Kiani directed for further effective policing measures in the city.
