Minister says corrupt leaders holding others accountable
Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq lashed out at opposition and said that those who did corruption in Hajj pilgrims’ money are now making others accountable.
Saad Rafique said it seems that opposition parties do not want an investigation into Panama Leaks as they are not finalising Terms of References (TORs).
He advised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to not cross the red line, while he also suggested Imran Khan to remove his sunglasses and focus on the development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Talking about Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), he said that the leaders should also hold a march against their own KP finance minister.
He said complete turn-around of Pakistan Railways has been realised and efforts are being made to make it into a profitable department.
He was addressing the ceremony of rehabilitation work of Nankana Railway Station in Nankana Sahib on Sunday.
The minister said the income of railways has increased one hundred per cent from 18 billion rupees to 36 billion rupees in three years.
He said the strength of train passengers has also increased to ten million.
The minister said six railway stations are reconstructed and rehabilitated in the first phase.
