Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that Pakistan’s political system is stronger than earlier.
Talking to media in London, the minister said that sit-ins and speeches cannot damage the democratic system in the country.
He said Imran Khan was a master of u-turn, adding that the PTI chief was creating hurdles in the way of developing consensus on Terms of Reference (ToRs) due to fear of his own accountability regarding ownership of offshore companies.
To a question, Rashid said he would consult the prime minister over the matters related to the election commission of Pakistan. To another question, he said the Foreign Ministry was playing its role in the best way for safeguarding the national interests.
