A delegation of officers of National Police of Turkey led by Additional IG Nail Aydin met Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and congratulated him on the recovery of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, after a successful operation.
Talking to the delegation, Shehbaz Sharif said that with the blessings of Allah and prayers of the friends and the nation, the PM is recovering fast. He thanked the nation and friends who prayed for the recovery of prime minister.
He added that the relations between Pakistan and Turkey have further strengthened. He said that the relation of friendship between the two countries is changing into a useful economic cooperation. He said that cooperation of Turk National Police officers was commendable in the professional training of police force on modern lines.
Sharif said that due to professional training by officers of the Turk National Police, the standard of training of Punjab police has improved. He thanked Nail Aydin and the Turk National Police officers on full cooperation in the training of officers of Punjab police. He also expressed good wishes for Nail Aydin.
Nail Aydin said that he will feel great pleasure in helping his Pakistani brethren in the future as well.
Punjab IG Police, Secretary Home, Lahore CCPO and concerned police officials were also present on the occasion.
