Former Punjab governor and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Chaudhry Sarwar has said the opposition is not pulling legs of the government of the PML-N, but their corruption itself is pulling their legs.
Sarwar during the meeting with different delegations in his office on Sunday said: “Corruption is dragging the government into deep trouble. The government has crossed all limits of corruption. We want full accountability on Panama Leaks and the corrupt practices, and we will achieve this despite government’s tactics of propaganda and noise against PTI.
Sarwar added that the country is a victim of Rs 5 billion corruption due to the sitting government. If the government is not involved in any corruption then they should not be afraid of the unanimous TOR’s on corruption and Panama Leaks. What is stopping the sitting government from solving corruption, load shedding and inflation in the country? Unfortunately, incompetent rulers have done nothing except failing to achieve the deliverables that they promised the people of Pakistan.
Sarwar also criticised the government for ignoring the prosperity in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Only PMLN is not able to see the era of development in KP, he added.
Sarwar also pointed out that the country would have been in a much advanced stage of progress, had the federal ministers focused half of their energies on solving the problems of the country instead of continuously criticising good work.
Opposition and people will have no other choice than to take to the streets when accountability is non-existent in the country with corruption prevailing everywhere. Sarwar said that all opposition will unite and fight against corruption until corruption ends in the country.
