Pakistan’s Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif Monday (today) arrived in Berlin on a two-day official visit, during which he is expected to meet the senior leadership of the country.
According to a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Raheel Sharif’s German counterpart received him upon his arrival.
The Director General ISPR, General Asim Bajwa has also confirmed the news via a social media website.

According to the press release, the army chief would be meeting top political and military leadership of Germany during his visit, where talks would be held around improving defence and professional coordination between the two countries.
The statement said that General Raheel will visit the Czech Republic after his visit to Germany concludes. Sources disclosed that during the meeting with the senior leadership of both countries, discussions regarding defence cooperation and regional stability are likely to be the main focus of the talks.
