Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari counseled his father and former president Asif Ali Zardari of never making any compromise regarding democracy and democratic norms.
During 11-year imprisonment, Zardari tolerated worst torture but never gave up and continued struggle for restoration of democracy in the country, Bilawal said in his tweet on Sunday.
He said that his mother Benazir Bhutto was killed by extremists but his father led the party and gifted a democratic Pakistan to the masses.
The PPP chairman paid tribute to the services of his father for supremacy and strengthening of democracy in the country.
