Punjab government has approved the projects for construction of a public park and a 600-bed hospital in NA-52 Rawalpindi in the budget for the year 2016-17.
Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) will construct the public park at the cost of Rs 150 million. Work on these two projects will be started in the rural areas of Chaklala during the financial year 2016-17.
A grant amounting to Rs 30 million has been released to PHA in the first phase of the construction of a public park and grant amounting to Rs 120 million will be released in the second phase.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had announced to construct a public park; 600-bed hospital and a graveyard in his constituency NA-52.The projects of construction of a public park and a major hospital in rural areas have been included in the development plan for the first time.
