Milos Raonic stands between Andy Murray and a record-breaking fifth title at Queen’s after both men came through semi-finals on Saturday.

World number two Murray, a winner of the grass-court event in 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2015, produced a masterful third-set performance to overcome Marin Cilic.

The Croatian hit back from losing the opener to level the match, but Murray responded by raising his level, winning 17 points out of 17 on first serve in the decider to triumph 6-3 4-6 6-3.

Raonic, who recently added three-time Wimbledon singles champion John McEnroe to his coaching team, also proved strong on serve in his 6-4 6-4 win over Bernard Tomic.

Third seed Raonic only faced a solitary break point, when serving for a 5-3 lead in the second set, and fired 12 aces in an impressive display.

A tough task awaits Raonic in the final, however, with Murray having won the last four matches between the pair.
