Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s former spouse and TV anchorperson, Reham Khan has denied that she has been terminated by Neo News channel over low ratings of her show ‘Tabdeeli Reham Khan Ke Sath’.
Reham took to twitter on Thursday night to blast her former employers for not paying its staffers for over two months. The former Tabdeeli host was also angry about the fact that her current affairs show was pulled off the air without prior notice. In addition to that, she also added that the employees haven’t been paid in over two months.

She defended the content of her show saying, “Tabdeeli program on Neo secured a place 20 Times in Top 5 out of 100 programs including 3 Top 5 Hatrick ratings out of 4 in a week.”

People asking me what’s happening at Neo but I don’t know as the channel management hasn’t had the courtesy to communicate to me.

“Tabdeeli With Reham Khan followed Pemra issued a code of conduct & did not succumb to the pressure of promoting extremism or vulgarity. In addition to that the program was appreciated by professors & vice chancellors across the country for being reporting factually & accurately,” she said in another tweet.

Reham Khan had joined the channel in December to host the show in hopes of bringing “honest journalism” to Pakistan. Reportedly, the show didn’t manage to rack up the ratings that the network was hoping for and it was shelved altogether.

Fact: I have not received a termination letter so reading on social media after a show on IDP’s is a surprise to me.

Reham wrapped it up by giving working ladies some career advice.
“Never compromise on your beliefs especially if you are a woman never be bullied into doing things which you don’t agree with,” she said in her concluding tweet.

Earlier, sources in Neo Channel had confided to Pakistan Today that besides low ratings of the show, the channel’s management was also concerned about Reham’s “persistent lack of interest” in work.
The sources said that the channel’s management had repeatedly warned Reham to focus on improving the ratings of her talk show and to desist from promoting people close to her, but she continued to ignore the warnings. “Reham only cared about her charity outfit, resulting in huge financial losses to the channel,” the sources claimed.
Hired by Neo News at a hefty salary package soon after her short-lived marriage with the popular cricketer-turned-politician last year, Reham’s show had failed to take off in the TV ratings race since its launch.
Reham, who has previously worked for BBC and some private Pakistani news channels, is currently residing in London.
