Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Thursday said that his party will stage a massive sit-in in August against non-finalization of Terms of Reference (ToRs) for the Panama Papers probe.
The PTI chief said that his workers and party leaders were trained in 2014 sit-in and now a huge demonstration will be staged against the government in August.
“The government wants to exclude the prime minister’s name from the ToRs, but PTI will not let this happen in any case,” he maintained.
The PTI chief said if Pakistan People’s Party abandoned them then it would become evident before the people that it was protecting the government to hide its own corruption.
Imran said that the government has a chance to finalize the TORs until Eidul Fitr.
It is pertinent to note here that the deadlock between the government and opposition on ToRs of Panama leaks probe is still persisting, whereas PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has also hinted at giving tough time to government on the issue.
