Two MQM workers confess to receiving training from RAW

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement workers Faheem alias Mirchi and Nasir alias Kachi have confessed to getting training from the Indian intelligence agency, Research and Analysis Wing.

The two criminals were presented before a court to record their statements on Thursday. The political workers confessed to possessing explosives and receiving training from RAW besides other crimes.

According to their statements, Ahmed Saeed alias Saeed Bharam provided them weapons which they used to hide in Nabi Bakhsh’s vacant plot. The two criminals were booked in cases regarding attacks on Sindh Assembly and secretariat.

Bharam, a target killer, revealed that dozens of MQM workers were trained by the RAW. In recent revelations, Bharam said that Pak Sarzameen Party’s Anees Qaimkhani had ordered to target Zulfiqar Mirza, former home minister, Mohajir Qaumi Movement-Haqiqi Chief Afaq Ahmed and Shahi Syed among other prominent faces. He also revealed that Sindh Governor Ishratul Ebad’s brother, Amirul Ibad, was bribed to have an illegal paint house built in Bahadurabad area. He further revealed the names of nine MQM leaders who were allegedly involved in land-grabbing.

Several Indian spy agents have been caught in the recent past and their networks have also been busted in different parts of the country. Among the apprehended agents included an in-service naval officer Kulbhushan Jadhav who confessed to his real identity in a video statement released few days after his arrest.
