Pakistan women’s cricket team is in England to take on the hosts in three One-Day Internationals and as many T20 Internationals.
The tour is a part of the ongoing ICC Women’s Championship — a two-year long ICC Women’s World Cup qualification programme that will see top eight teams compete against each other in three ODIs.
The top four teams by the end of the programme will secure places in the World Cup. Pakistan is currently positioned at seventh place.
The tour starts from June 20.
The ‘Girls in Green’ warmed up to the task at the Fischer County Ground, Leicester.
