Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that armed forces of Pakistan have broken the backbone of the terrorists and restored peace in the country through operation Zarb-e-Azb.
In his message on Wednesday on the occasion of completion of two years of operation Zarb-e-Azb, Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan Army through targeted actions has made it difficult for terrorists to stay in Pakistan and that they are on the run.
He appreciated the role of armed forces in restoration of peace and said that armed forces of the country have set unparalleled examples of bravery and commitment to save the homeland by sacrificing their lives.
Shehbaz Sharif said that officers and army personnel who embraced martyrdom during operations against terrorism and militancy are the real heroes of the nation.
There was no space for terrorists and their facilitators across the country as entire nation was united against them and they are on the run, the CM added.
