An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Wednesday permitted the accused Amir Khan, who was detained from Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s centre Nine Zero, to go to Dubai.
The hearing of the case against MQM for giving shelter to the terrorists was conducted in ATC during which the accused requested the court to allow him to go to Dubai.
The court approved Khan’s plea and directed him to return to country till July 20.
On the other hand, the court also heard suspect Minhaj Qazi’s B-class petition. The Rangers officer alleged that Minhaj had killed Shahid Hamid and the witnesses had also identified the criminals. Rangers urged the court to take action against him instead of granting him B-class.
Subsequently, the ATC reserved the verdict in Minhaj Qazi’s case on the statement of Rangers.
