Women rights activist and journalist Marvi Sirmed had filed an application with the Kohsar police for the registration of a case against the JUI-F senator accusing him of threatening her with severe consequences during a programme on a private television channel.
It may be mentioned that Marvi Sirmed and Hafiz Hamdullah were involved in a fiery exchange of arguments during the recording of a programme that was to be aired on a private news channel.
Marvi Sirmed had accused Hamdullah of maligning her character along with assaulting her as well. She stated that the JUI-F senator used vulgar language against her and threatened her of severe consequences.
How long "goons" like Hamdullah will be be given tickets as a political bribe? what are his qualifications, no one knows! Its high time, Pakistan's "so-called politicians" have some khauf e Khuda, have mercy on this "unfortunate country " and let some educated honest and sincere people enter the parliament! Or other wise wait for the wrath of God upon such people.
