Police says public should call if there are incidents of forced charity collection

Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) AD Khawaja issued instructions to ensure provision of Sehri and Iftari for on-duty police officers so that they can perform their duty without any problems, a statement issued by the Sindh Police spokesperson said.

The IGP said that the station house officer (SHO) should take effective measures for proper patrolling and snap checking and ensure quick response on information received from intelligence sharing sources.

He added that the public can inform the Sindh police about any forced charity collection in any area, market and residential locality of the city on helpline 1915 or 15 or inform the nearby police station, SSP, DIG or patrolling team. He directed the police to hold flag marches during Ramzan.
