A ban has been imposed on live media coverage in the Sindh Assembly Monday (today) owing to security concerns.
Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani said that all the passes possessed by media representatives have been revoked.
The assembly received multiple security threats, added Durrani.
Earlier in April, a private media channel’s team member entered the assembly hiding a gun in his clothing.
The move reportedly was made by the media team to expose the vulnerable security condition of the house.
The team was later arrested from the premises after the media representative took out the weapon and placed it before the speaker.
