Actress Syra Shehroz, who rose to fame with the drama serial Mera Naseeb , earlier this year took a leap forward and made her big screen debut with a cameo in ‘Ho Mann Jahaan’ and now she is all set to star in the upcoming film Chalay Thay Sath as a protagonist.
Talking to a private media channel, the actress revealed that the film deals with several universal themes.
“The film is about love, loss, family values and friendships,” Shehroz said. “It’s about finding love even when you have lost everything and moving on in life. It’s sort of a journey based in Pakistan that also features the beauty of the country.”
As for her role in the film, Shehroz explained that she is playing the lead character, Resham, around which the story revolves; her life, her father, and her friends. “She is a doctor who is independent, headstrong and confident and knows how to take care of herself,” the actress noted.
She also maintained that the character is very close to her personally as it’s been written keeping her in mind and this is what is unique about it.
The shooting for the film is underway. Most of the film has been shot in Hunza. Directed by Umer Adil, the film is set to be released in January 2017.
