The law enforcement agencies Sunday (today) on a tip-off carried raid at different areas of the Metropolis and apprehended at least 40 suspects including a woman and Lyari gang war member.
According to police, in a raid in Gulshan-i-Iqbal’s Azam Goth, police arrested 25 suspects including a woman. The suspects were wanted in several cases related to criminal activities.
Four persons, including two Afghan nationals, were nabbed in raids at Karachi’s Surjani Town, Malir and Mubeen Town.
In Boat Basin, police conducted a search operation and took into custody three suspects allegedly involved in street crimes.
In Dalmia, police in a search operation arrested Lyari gang war member identified as Moosa.
The police have shifted the detained suspects to an unidentified location for further interrogation.
