Prince Charles calls on PM Nawaz, presents honey for speedy recovery

Britain’s Prince Charles on Saturday met with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at the latter’s residence in London and congratulated him on his successful open heart surgery on May 31.

The Prince of Wales inquired about the health of the Pakistani premier and also conveyed the best wishes of Queen Elizabeth.

Later, PM’s daughter Maryam Nawaz tweeted “HRH Prince Charles brought for the PM, honey from the gardens of Clarence House, saying it will help him recover fast as Pakistan needs him.

“Prime Minister Sharif thanked HRH Prince Charles for the honey & told him that Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said honey has healing properties.”

Prime Minister Sharif was discharged from a hospital in central London on Monday, where he underwent an open heart surgery on May 31.

  1. Very kind of you, Prince Charles, to greet NS get well wishes, but NS is corrupt and looter of national wealth of Pakistanis, he wiil go for umrah with that corruption and face Almighty in Mecca and Madina before returning to Pakistan, what a munafiq NS is, . . . .
