Swat and its adjoining areas were jolted on Saturday evening as a result of an earthquake having a magnitude of 5.0 on the Richter scale.
According to Pakistan Metrological department the epicenter was located in border area of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, having a depth of 111 km.
However, there were no reports of loss of any life or property.
