Reham Khan, former wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, has reportedly been sacked by Neo News channel due to low ratings of her show ‘Tabdeeli Reham Khan Ke Sath’ and “persistent lack of interest” in work, sources claimed on Thursday.
According to sources inside Neo News, the channel’s management had repeatedly warned Reham to focus on improving the ratings of her talk show and to desist from promoting people close to her, but she continued to ignore the warnings. “Reham only cared about her charity outfit, resulting in huge financial losses to the channel,” the sources claimed.
Hired by Neo News at a hefty salary package soon after her short-lived marriage with the popular cricketer-turned-politician last year, Reham’s show had failed to take off in the TV ratings race since its launch.
Reham, who has previously worked for BBC and some private Pakistani news channels, is currently residing in London. Neo News aired the last show of ‘Tabdeeli’ on Thursday night.
Reham Khan was not available to comment on the news.
