Hajj corruption case: Hamid Saeed Kazmi challenges prison sentence in IHC

Former federal minister for religious affairs Hamid Saeed Kazmi on Wednesday challenged the verdict of the trial court in Hajj corruption case in Islamabad High Court (IHC).

Earlier, a local court sentenced to imprisonment for 16 years to Hamid Saeed Kazmi in Hajj corruption case.

The court had given 16 years imprisonment to Hamid Saeed Kazmi while former director general Hajj Rao Shakeel had been sentenced to 40 years in jail by the trial court.

The court also announced 16 years sentence to Aftab Islam, who is an accomplice in the Hajj scandal case.

This scandal had occurred in the PPP’s government tenure during 2008 to 2013.

  1. He has become a symbol of cheaters to Hajis who go once in life to perform the vovage of life. He should be cleaned shaved.
