Minister visits Ramzan Bazaar, suspends official over negligence

Minister for Agriculture Dr.Farrukh Javed paid a surprise visit to Gulshan-e-Ravi and Islam Pura Ramzan Bazaars on Wednesday and suspended Samanabad TMA In-charge Imtiaz Hassan over absence of staff, presence of expired oil and ghee in the market and closure of sugar stall in Gulshan-e-Ravi Ramzan Bazaar.

The minister also checked quality and availability of food items and directed the DCO Lahore to immediately take action against those responsible for price hike and ensure availability of commodities in Ramzan Bazaars.
