Ambassador to the United States Jalil Abbas Jilani will represent Pakistan at the funeral of legend boxer Muhammad Ali, who will be laid to rest on Friday in native town Louisville, Kentucky.
“On the Prime Minister’s directive, Ambassador Jilani will represent the government and people of Pakistan at the funeral of the great boxer Muhammad Ali,” the Prime Minister’s Media Office said here Wednesday.
Muhammad Ali, the three-time heavyweight champion, died on June 3 at 74 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
