The Islamabad police arrested eight outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered three cars, 20 litres liquor and narcotics from their possession, a police spokesman said.
He said that Bhara Kahu police recovered 30 bore pistols from an accused Adeel.
Secretariat police recovered a tempered Honda City car (RS-9300) from an accused Tasleem Khan as it was found stolen from Faisal Town police station while another tempered Suzuki Mehran car (LED-4734) stolen from Iqbal Town police station was recovered from an accused Tufail.
Similarly, Karachi Company police recovered a car (LOW-8734) from Hassan Qazi found stolen from Liaqatabad police station Lahore while a thief Nadir was also nabbed.
Kohsar police arrested Asif Masih during patrolling and recovered 20 litres wine from him while three accused Sher Wali, Abid Hussain and Nadeem were nabbed by Sihala police for involvement in stealing petroleum products.
Loi Bher police arrested Shahid for having 210 grams hashish.
Islamabad SSP Sajid Kiani appreciated this overall performance and further directed for effective policing measures in the city.
