Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif met Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Sun Weidong in the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Tuesday and discussed the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.
According to the Inter-Services Public Realtions (ISPR) department, matters of mutual interest and overall situation of the region were also discussed during the meeting.
The Chinese ambassador lauded the efforts and sacrifices made by the Pakistan Army for promoting regional and global peace.
