The Airport Security Force (ASF) on Tuesday foiled a bid to smuggle drugs and apprehended a passenger at Benazir Bhutto International Airport.
The ASF personnel while conducting security checking of the passenger at the airport recovered one kilogram of heroin from his possession hidden in the bag. The passenger was identified as Mohammad Saleem who was going to Jeddah on foreign airline.
The ASF personnel handed over the passenger to Anti Narcotics Force for further investigation.
That's a large amount of heroin. At least the man was caught before those drugs were able to seriously hurt someone.
