The Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali on Monday took action on the condition of Quetta’s Sandeman Provincial Hospital.

Furthermore, he fixed June 7 as the date for a court hearing.

The CJP took suo motu notice of the case under Article 184 (3) of the Constitution on a report submitted to him by the Balochistan High Court Registrar and issued notices to the Attorney General for Pakistan, Advocate General Balochistan, and the provincial health secretary.

The registrar’s complaint raised concerns about the poor condition of the hospital and services being provided to patients at the facility.
