The World Bank (WB) has approved a 300 million dollars loan to support increased school participation in Punjab.
According to a statement of the WB: “This loan will support the Punjab province in improving school participation, completion, and teaching-learning practices with a particular focus on low-performing districts”.
About three million children in Punjab through a combination of interventions would be benefited while one million out-of-school children will be brought into schools through this project.
