The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is scheduled to meet Monday (today) for sighting the crescent of Ramzan-ul-Mubarak 1437 AH.
The meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be chaired by Chairman Mufti Munibur Rehman in the building of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) camp office, Karachi.
The other members of the committee will attend the meetings of zonal and district committees at their respective places on Monday.
The meeting of Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees Islamabad Capital Territory would be held in the building of Ministry of Religious Affairs near General Post Office.

Mufti Munibur Rehman would announce the decision of crescent sighting or otherwise subsequently on the basis of information received after evaluating the evidences.
Ramzan moon sighting ends in a controversy every year with several areas going against the official announcement but this time, the government is making efforts so the whole country starts this holy month of Ramzan on the same day.
On the other hand, the government has also ordered to avoid power outage during Sehri and Iftar timings in Ramzan.
