Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is recovering speedily and surgeons are satisfied with his recuperation.
Talking in London, Chief Minister Shehbaz said that the prime minister has been shifted to a room from the intensive care unit and has met him on Sunday.
He said the prime minister has also walked in corridor and expressed the hope that he will be shifted to home from the hospital within the next few days.
Shehbaz said that he and his family are thankful to the Pakistani people who prayed for the recovery of the prime minister.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has also thanked those praying for his recovery, he added.
