MSSST services in sports, education and healthcare lauded

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information, Public Relations and Culture Secretary Tahir Hassan HAS said that the Malik Saad Shaheed Sports Trust (MSSST) is dedicatedly serving the nation in the fields of sports, health and education and is encouraging the youth to bring social peace in difficult circumstances.

He said this during his visit to the MSSST head office on Sunday.

Hassan was warmly received by MSSST Secretary Amjad Aziz Malik, Board of Trustees (BoT) members Syed Ali Nawaz Gilani and Shakeel-ur-Rehman. Hassan visited the picture gallery and watched a documentary film on MSSST activities and achievements.

Hassan paid rich tribute to Shaheed Malik Saad, Safwat Ghayur and a number of other police officers and jawans for their great services. He appreciated various MSSST programmes in their names as they will aware the new generation about the glorious services the martyred police officers rendered for the nation. He said, “Whatever the circumstances are, we will look after the people and provide justice and peace to all.”

Hassan mentioned that the present government is very serious and is bringing a change and creating a difference at all levels through hard work and better surveillance.

During his visit, the secretay information, public relations and culture also wrote his views in the visitor’s book and offered support from his department. He said, “The MSSST is one of those bright examples that give us hope and encouragement that demonstrate the will, determination and resilience of our nation. I wish the trust all the success.”

He was also informed that the MSSST is planning to establish free tuition centres for needy students.
