Single men from across the nation heaved a collective sigh of relief when they were informed that Asma From Hospital had finally been transferred the last tranche of “sirf Rs20” that she needed to get her out of her mushkil.

“I was so relieved when I finally got news of the successful resolution of her problem,” said Haider Azhar, a student of IT in Lahore. “Ever since I first got her message, asking me to transfer her just twenty rupees, I was worried sick about her.”

“She said that she would return the money,” said Saleem Butt, an accountant at a private firm. “But I wasn’t concerned about that. I was more concerned about her crisis. After easyloading her the credit, I also started calling and tried to ask where she was and whether I could come over personally and help fix her problems, but I didn’t get any response.”

The nation’s single men were of the opinion that, now that Asma From Hospital’s problems were resolved, she would call them personally to thank them for their help in her time of need, and return them their 20 rupees, upon which point they will refuse said amount and say that this was their duty. This gentlemanly behaviour, the nation’s single men said, would melt her heart.

Speaking to reporters after collecting her 1,34,000th 20-rupee tranche, Asma From Hospital said, “Please, aap jo koi bhi ho, mayn buhat mushkil mein houn; mujhe Rs 20ka balance load karwa dein, lota doongi — Asma from Hospital.
