A few antisocial elements of the village harassed and beat them and adopted all means to evacuate them from the colony. But when they failed to do so, they set fire to their houses. The migrants also went to Mohangarh police, but they did not take any action against the influential people. Later, the victim families met Jaisalmer collector. They submitted a memorandum and apprised him about the entire incident.
