At least 11 people have reportedly been injured as a result of strong windstorm speeding at a rate of 110 kilometres per hour in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Sunday.

The cities struck with the vicious windstorms include Peshawar, Mardan and the adjoining areas.
The injuries occurred as a result of walls of different structures falling on people.
The injured were shifted to the nearest hospital for medical assistance.
The storms massively affected the electricity supply in certain areas and caused damage to the vehicles on roads.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) spokesperson stated that the wind speeds during the storm were recorded to be around 110 km per hour.

Earlier this week, at least 30 people in various parts of the twin cities -19 in Rawalpindi and 11 in Islamabad – were killed in havoc windstorm.
