The Punjab Teachers Union (PTU) Saturday (today) staged a protest against the privatisation of government schools at Charing Cross, the Mall Road .
The teachers have staged a protest outside the Punjab Assembly against the possible privatisation of government schools.
The protest caused a severe traffic jam in the area causing extreme distress to the citizens.
The teachers vowed to continue their protest until demands are met.
Earlier, young nurses ended their five-day protest against the department concerned after successful negotiation.
The staffers had demanded approval of service structure and health allowance.
These sort of protests became fashion nowadays. The demands are usually wired and it's very difficult for the Govt. to accept all of their demands. There is no doubt the Govt. is run by dull and non eligible people.
