A State Guest House will be constructed in the federal capital with an estimated cost of Rs 2 billion.
The State Guest House, the first in Islamabad, will accommodate the visiting heads of state, government and other foreign dignitaries.
At present, the high-level foreign guests are accommodated at a five-star hotel in the capital.
Under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2016-17, an amount of Rs 500 million has been allocated for the said project for the current financial year. The project will be carried out under the Foreign Affairs Division.
